Order dates for bakeries and cake makers on Shopify
You can't bake a birthday cake for an order you only saw this morning. Delivery Guard gives every order a pickup or delivery date with the notice you need.

Ask for the notice you need
Set how many days' notice you need and a daily cutoff, and the picker only offers dates that fit. Checkout refuses anything sooner, so a late order can't get through on an old cart.
Longer notice for made-to-order cakes
On Pro, product rules let one collection need more notice, an earlier cutoff or extra closed dates. Everyday loaves can stay next-day while wedding cakes need a week. If a cart mixes both, the stricter rule applies.
Pickup slots that don't pile up
Give pickup its own time slots, limits and instructions, separate from delivery. Limits count orders per slot rather than items, so set them by how many customers you can serve at once.
Know what to bake
The prep list groups each day's orders by time slot and totals every item, so you can see 36 mince pies and 4 loaves at a glance. Print it or download a CSV. The month calendar shows how busy each day is.
Close when you close
Choose your open days and add closed dates. UK shops can add every bank holiday for England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland in one click.
